SquirrelCache is built on a simple principle: your photos are yours, and nobody else's business. This privacy policy is refreshingly short because we genuinely don't collect, process, or have access to any of your data.
Data Collection
We collect zero data. SquirrelCache does not:
- Collect any personal information
- Track your usage or behavior
- Use analytics or telemetry
- Access or view your photos
- Store any of your data on our servers
- Use cookies or tracking technologies
- Require you to create an account
How the App Works
SquirrelCache acts as a pass-through tool using Apple's native iOS APIs. When you export photos:
- The app uses Apple's PhotoKit framework to access your photos locally on your device
- Files are copied directly from your device to your chosen destination
- Everything happens on your device - nothing is sent to our servers
- We never see, process, or have access to your photos
Third-Party Services
SquirrelCache does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline and independently.
Data Storage
We don't store your data because we never receive it in the first place. Your photos remain:
- On your device
- In your chosen backup locations
- Completely under your control
Children's Privacy
SquirrelCache does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data about you, there's nothing for us to:
- Share with third parties
- Sell or monetize
- Delete or modify
- Export or transfer
Your privacy is protected by design, not just by policy.

If we ever change our data practices (which would require fundamentally changing how the app works), we will update this policy and notify users through the App Store update notes.
